In this case we were approached by the client to design a collection of silk scarfs. In order to do so we first created the whole brand concept, values and mission which at the time yarn didn’t have. We also shaped the target group in order to have a clear path for the designers to create their art.
With all these developed we launched the first scarf collection “Summer in the City”, we designed the packaging and supporting elements like embossed stickers, silk paper and cards.

How to Type the Brand
When we type the brand in a text, always use lowercase. It should be yarn and not Yarn.
Social Media Thumnails
For best legibility in social Media it is advised to use the monogram as a profile image.
Minimum Print Size
If it is needed to print the logo in a smaller scale than the suggested, then it is recommended to use the monogram.
Minimal Space
The correct application of the logo implies the appropriate surrounding space. The scheme shows that the logo requires 1/2 its size in surrounding space.
Pay-Off
In order not to loose legibility the pay-off can only be used in 9pts. as a minimal starting point.
Negative
This is the negative version with pay-off.
Texture
The use of the Pay-off logo in a textured background is not acceptable.
Color
Beige is the only other color accepted for the logo.

For the first collection of silk scarfs we choose and art directed four designers from different countries in order to make the collection international, which happens to be one of the brand values, rich and diverse.
The theme within this first collection was called “ Summer in the City” and each designer interpreted the idea in their unique style.
The Designers were Silvia Celiberti, Nick Liefhebber, Ramiro Amorena and Miji.
The Art Directors were Adela Detry and Ramiro Amorena.
Ramiro Amorena’s designs (the last 4 showed in the collection) were inspired by archetypal buildings of Buenos Aires, a lot of them within the rational arquitectural style.
The packaging of the scarfs is based on the concept that the brand appeals to all senses, therefor the pattern is embossed on the frontside and the yarn logo is a metallic copper foil.
